I'm sorry to say that ShimmerClan will be inactive for a while, as I have school and other things that keep me busy. I think that starting now, ShimmerClan will only be fully active in the summer. I will try to update it as much as I can, but as I said, I'm quite busy. Sorry :(

Hi! This is Moonstar, and I'd like to ask you how you like the new cursor! If you don't, choose one of the cursors on the site below and comment with the number. Also, have you noticed what the new cursor does when you mouse over a link? If you'd like to change that too, comment like this:

New Apprentice!

Moonstar leapt onto the Highbranch.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch!"
The cats of ShimmerClan came out from their dens, and other various parts of camp.
"Today, we have an important ceremony to conduct-- the making of an apprentice! Rainkit, please come forward."
A pale gray kit tentatively stepped up.
"Rainkit, do you promise to uphold the warrior code as an apprentice?"
"I do"
"The from this day on, until you have earned your warrior name, you shall be known as Rainpaw. Rainstorm, please come forward. You are ready for an apprentice. You have shown yourself to be a warrior of spunk and strength. I trust you will pass these virtues down to your apprentice."

New Warrior, Apprentice, and Mentor Change.

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch!"

There was a buzz of excitement as ShimmerClan gathered to listen to Moonstar.
"Today, ShimmerClan has a new warrior. Shinepaw, please come forward."
Shinepaw proudly padded up to the Highbranch.
"My apprentice, Shinepaw, has trained well. She exhibits great skill and prestiege. Shinepaw, are you willing to give up even your life in service of your Clan?"
"Yes."
"StarClan, look down on this apprentice. She has trained well in your service. From this moment on, you will be known as Shinepool. Tonight, Shinepool shall keep vigil over our camp. I hope that she will serve our Clan well."

"Our next order of buisiness is to name a new apprentice. Snowkit, please come forward."
The little kit padded up under the Highbranch.
"From this day on, until she has earned her warrior name, this apprentice shall be known as Snowpaw. Smokeystorm, you are ready to take an apprentice. You will mentor Snowpaw. You have shown yourself to be a warrior of loyalty and devotion. I trust you will pass these virtues on to your apprentice."

"Our last order of buisness is to give Dawnpaw a new mentor. Dawnpaw, you have trained well under Flamepelt, but it is hard for one cat to have two apprentices. Your new mentor will be Lilyblossom. Lilyblossom, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of cleverness and strength. I trust you will pass these virtues on to your new apprentice."

To WishClan! (continued)

The next day, Moonstar, Roseflower, and Dapplepaw, set out for the WishClan border. As it was time for a border patrol, they waited until the patol passed. Goldenstar happened to be part of this patrol.
As soon as Moonstar had told her why they had come, she said, "I knew something was the matter. You see, I too have had prophetic dreams. The most clear of which was sent to me by Silverstar, our former leader."
"I see.....but we must ponder the meaning of this prophecy. I don't mean the so called 'danger', I think that is easy enough to decipher, but the prophecy says that only when the three are BROUGHT TOGETHER, will their powers have effect." replied Moonstar.
"And so the most reasonable thing to do right now is to keep our eyes open and looking for these three," finished Roseflower.
Dapplepaw spoke up, "I think the  two of the three are stated quite clearly. This first is a peace-loving, helpful cat from WishClan. That could be a medicine cat, or a warrior who is unwilling to fight. The second is a cat with stormy gray fur from ShimmerClan, but the third is the most puzzling one. We'll just have to work that one out later."
"Agreed," answered the others, amazed at the young cat's wisdom.

To WishClan!

Moonstar, Roseflower, and Dapplepaw were gathered in the medicine den.
"We have all been having the same recurring dream for the past three days." said Moonstar. "I think we can be sure now this is a prophecy."
"And it definitely concerns us, and our ally WishClan." added Roseflower.
"We must send a group to warn WishClan." said Moonstar. "The best would be a group of medicine cats and apprentices, so we don't appear hostile, even if WishClan IS our ally."
"Agreed," answered Roseflower, "but I think you should come too."
Dapplepaw, who had been listening quietly to this conversation the whole time, said, "I think Roseflower is right. I actually think the other apprentices shouldn't come. This is a prophecy, and it should be the business of medicine cats and leaders, until we figure out what it means."
"She has a point...." said Roseflower.
"Then tomorrow, the three of us will go to the WishClan Camp. I will leave Smokeystorm in charge."

The Dream and the Prophecy~

It was a warm greenleaf night. The camp was still and silent. Suddenly, a mystical voice rang out.
"Three will come from shining wish,
When they are needed  most.
to fend off danger that will come.
The most unlikely of groups,
whose power will not show;
until the time of greatest need,
forevermore unknown.
The first, from wish, seeks not a battle,
but only to help;
The second, from shimmer, bearing a pelt of stormiest gray.
And last, unknown from where,
and hardest to find, so wait, for it may not be who it seems.
It shall be one who seems not unique,
but the one who delivers the rescue.
When united, their power shall be revealed.
But be warned, should they fail,
the shining wish shall diminish into evermore."
Moonstar awoke with a jolt. She rushed off to Roseflower's den, and woke her up. "Roseflower," she said, "I think I've just had a prophecy."

Moonstar leapt onto the Highbranch. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Highbranch!"
"Today I gather you here to give you more good news. ShimmerClan now has three new apprentices. By naming apprentices, we show that ShimmerClan will survive and  remain strong. Please welcome Dapplekit, Tigerkit, and Dawnkit to our clan. Dapplekit, Tigerkit, and Dawnkit, please come forward. You have reached your 6th moon, and from this day forward, these apprentices shall be known as Dapplepaw, Tigerpaw, and Dawnpaw. Dapplepaw, Roseflower tells me you show a desire to become a medicine cat. I acknowledge that wish, so Roseflower will be your mentor. At the next half-moon, Dapplepaw will visit the Moonstream with Roseflower to be properly acknoledged as a medicine cat by StarClan."
"Flamepelt, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of bravery and courage. You are also ready to take an apprentice. You will mentor Tigerpaw and Dawnpaw. I trust that you will pass on these virtues to your apprentices."

New Kit!

Moonstar Leapt up onto the Highbranch.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Highbranch! Today I bring good news to ShimmerClan! Lilyblossom has given birth! Her new kit is named Snowkit." A cry rose in the camp.
"Snowkit! Snowkit! Snowkit!"
